About Me

There isn't a whole lot that I want to share with the online world, for obvious reasons. However, I don't have a problem sharing some basic information about myself. My alias is Shadow (it's not my real name, so don't ask) and I'm in high school. I do enjoy sitting at my computer and browsing my various "stalkables". I have an intense interest in the web design and programming fields, so many of the things on this site do revolve around that. On many of the role play games I'm on I skin and style the html and css and have developed somewhat of a name for myself when it comes to these layouts. I, obviously, like to role play, mostly wolves since they're my favorite animal. I've been role playing for almost five years now and have enjoyed everything about it. Most of my messenger lists are made up of people I've met doing this; and even though reading this you think it's pathetic and dorky, you'd be surprised at how many amazing people have role play as one of their hobbies. Serious amounts of hours goes into the making of a game that is impossible to understand unless you've done it.

Offline, my life can be summed up pretty quickly. My parents divorced while I was in elementary school; currently I live with my father and two brothers and see my mother on my school vacations. I am a band geek, having played clarinet for almost four years and various types of saxophones for two years. During the summer and fall my life is consumed by marching band, which is honestly an amazing activity. It's a lot of hard work, but after you perform a good show, the feeling you get is amazing. While it does suck having your Saturdays completely taken away from you, the rewards for it are more than worth the sacrifice. So other than music, my school life could be called what is average. I have a boyfriend, Michael, who I love with all of my heart. I also have a group of good friends, mainly guys. I really care for those guys even though it's sometimes awkward to sit down and talk with them. Sadly to say, I really don't have a lot of female friends that I hang out with on weekends and things like that, but I do have people during school who I can hang with anytime. It really sucks sometimes, but I'm not going to have a case of identity crises because of it; one of the reasons why I really value my online friends.
